Corporate Wellness and Youth Engagement

In as much as the cancer cafe is focused on improving the quality of life of those affected by cancer, the team is aware that for as long as prevention is no factored in, the increase of the number of ne cancer diagnosis will never stop. In response to this, the cancer café has an arm of intervention that focusses on reducing risk factors at our workplaces – where we spend a lot of our productive years an also on the youth to get them to incorporate healthy habits and limit risky behavior that increases the risks of getting cancer and other non-communicable conditions in the future.

So far we have engaged with corporates such as Deloitte, the Central Bank of Kenya, Kenya Revenue Authority, NIC Bank, East Africa RE, East African Breweries Ltd (EABL), Cerebral Palsy Society of Kenya (CPSK) among others
